In keeping with the Hungarian Higher Education Act the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged (’GTK’) announces an application for teacher’s assistant positions for the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year in order to involve the most competent applicants in the Faculty’s teaching work and prepare them for their professional career.
The „Outstanding Partner of the GTK” award was created by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in 2017 for our partners who provide exceptional support for achieving the faculty’s goals and for developing the quality of the economist training in Szeged with a special emphasis on education, research, talent management and the continuous contact and cooperation with the faculty’s students.
On 5th July 2018 the Faculty Council proposed the handing out of 234 new university degrees to the graduating economist candidates. The morning session featured graduates of the master’s and professional postgraduate majors along with students of the international bachelor’s and master’s programme taught in English. Students of the Hungarian bachelor’s and professional higher educational programmes received their degrees during the afternoon session organised in the main congressional hall of the József Attila Study and Information Centre.
Students taking part in a state-funded or fee-paying full-time undergraduate, master’s or undivided training program who have been, or were during earlier studies, enrolled for at least two semesters and earned a minimum of 55 credits, may apply for a National Higher Education Scholarship.
The Students’ Union of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration has proposed the creation of the Professor of the Year Award.
Together with nine higher education institutions, the University of Szeged Faculty of Economics and Business Administration the Ezabeszéd Toastmasters Retorika Klub and the Ökonómia Public Benefit Foundation organised the National Prezilimpia presentation competition in Szeged, 27 April 2018. Altogether nine students from eight universities competed against each other.

The first Faculty Round of Prezilimpia was organised at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the main organizer of the event. More than twenty students participated in the competition at the Faculty Round.

Friday, February 23 2018, was a joyful day for the members of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. In fact, many students whose academic performance in the previous semester was outstanding were awarded the Scholarship offered by the Faculty.
