Zsuzsa Kecsmar from Antavo is glad to host us in their new office (some nice pictures in the local paper) for a thought provoking presentation about Antavo, one of the best start-ups of Hungary, which is actually operating here in Szeged.

She will talk about "How Antavo drives sales for their marketing-tech software product".

1. Their story: how they got where they are today, what their marketing-tech product does, why they serve fashion and retail
2. Their sales and marketing: how selling to SMB vs. enterprise is different, how one partnership brought large clients in 4 countries
3. Marketing techniques that cost effort and not money: piggybacking on news, staying lean, using email and cheap flights

Zsuzsa graduated from our faculty in 2012 - she wrote her thesis about the business plan of Antavo, the company they are running now. After the 4 co-founders founded the company in London, they moved back to Hungary, pivoted to a different product, had many ups and downs, and today they are 40 people from 5 nationalities in 4 locations all over Europe. It's a unique opportunity to listen to this special session, because

• they operate on the international markets (one of your peers Giulia Filoso works there, developing the Italian market)
• they were a start-up company and now they are in the scale up phase
• Zsuzsa came exactly from where you are now...

(They actually have a job opportunity for someone who has experience with Google Analytics, SEO and PPC ads.)

The event is free for the students and lecturers of the University of Szeged Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The maximum seating capacity of the event is 50. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to each participant after registration.
