In keeping with the Hungarian Higher Education Act, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged (’GTK’) announces an application for teacher’s assistant positions for the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year in order to involve the most competent applicants in the Faculty’s teaching work and prepare them for their professional career.

The University of Szeged Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the Association for Marketing Research and Education and the Ezabeszéd Toastmasters Retorika Klub organized the event of Prezilimpia in 2021 in an online form.

In July, the application period has ended for the English language training programmes at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

The YETI (Young Entrepreneurial Teachers Initiative) Erasmus+ project has officially started. This project is part of an international Erasmus+ strategic partnership in which two faculties of the University of Szeged participate as partner institutions, namely the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

University of Szeged and its partner in the EUGLOH Alliance, the Swedish Lund University organized a webinar about equal opportunities in higher education. The first panellist of the webinar was Zoltán Bajmócy, vice-dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. In his presentation, he talked about the so called “underrepresented groups”, and how to provide them equal opportunities at an inclusive campus.

Thanks to the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship every international student has the chance to study at the University of Szeged for free. Since the application deadline is getting closer (15^th of January, 2021) we interviewed two of our students who received the scholarship. Both Ahmed Abdullah Sulifan (from Yemen) and Asif Aziz Mehranvi (from Pakistan) study at the University of Szeged, at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
