Fierce Debates, High Stakes! – The Faculty Round of the European Ethics Bowl is Complete

On May 13, we hosted the faculty round of the European Ethics Bowl for the third time – a thought-provoking event where sharp arguments clashed and the team to represent our faculty at the semi-finals in Bulgaria was decided.

The topic couldn’t have been more relevant: What are the ethical implications of misinformation and disinformation in the digital age?

Three teams rose to the challenge, and we witnessed great ideas, powerful arguments, and razor-sharp logic.

According to the jury’s decision, the winning team is Argu-Mentor – and they’re heading to Bulgaria for the international semi-finals!
Team members: Yelizaveta Verblyudova, Barnóth Lili, and Kislova Milana – all students of the BAM program.

Other teams who competed:
The omen is – Ibraheem Khaleel, Faiza Faiza, Sayyam Ahmed (BAM)
Vita Klubb – Bálint Boglárka, Stempel Csilla (BAM), Emmanuel Nii Lante Lamptey (INEB)

Special thanks to our dedicated jury members, Dr. Izabella Szakálné Kanó and Dr. Ferenc Rudisch, for their thoughtful and thorough evaluations.

We’re proud of every participant – huge congratulations to all of you!
We can’t wait to see how Team Argu-Mentor performs on the international stage in Bulgaria – go get that win!
