On October 3, 2026, we will present the book GTK 365 Alumni Stories, which compiles the life journeys, memories, experiences, and personal stories of the alumni community of the GTK 365 Alumni Story – Book Launch at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged at the University of Szeged.

In June, the first Central and Eastern European Degrowth Conference was successfully held, co-organized by the Institute of Ecological Economics of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Szeged.

As the first sunny days of Spring have arrived in Szeged, the Spring Festival started at our university.

On April 20, 2026, a new tradition was born at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Szeged (SZTE GTK): the very first NetCon – Student Networking Conference. The event aimed to create an inspiring platform for connection, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful dialogue between students and alumni.

On 24 April 2026, the national round of the European Ethics Bowl debate competition took place at the KO Aula of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged. The event started at 4:00 pm and featured engaging, high-level debates on the central theme: “AUTONOMY vs. GLOBAL INTERESTS.”

Every year, our Faculty hosts a very special and unique event - International Week. This year was no exception. In mid-April, we hosted the 18th International Week, an opportunity that all of us can truly be proud of.

The first BAM Alumni Advisory Board meeting was successfully held, clearly demonstrating from the very beginning the value of this new initiative for our community. The discussion took place in a friendly and open atmosphere, where participants shared their experiences and insights in an honest and constructive way.

Most academic writing workshops are led by people who are still figuring it out themselves.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Szeged, in cooperation with the SZTE Junior Academy and the Ezabeszéd Toastmasters Rhetoric Club, is once again organizing the PREZILIMPIA presentation competition, where the focus is on public speaking and presentation skills.

The NetCon – Student & Alumni Networking Conference will take place on April 20 from 18:00 to 20:00 at the KO Aula, offering an excellent opportunity for current students and alumni to connect and engage in meaningful professional dialogue.
