New double degree agreement

Anita Pelle, the academic coordinator of our Master in International Economy and Business signed a letter of intention for a double degree cooperation with the School of Economics of the Yunnan University (YNU) in Kunming in the beginning of June.

Accordingly, the process of establishing the legal framework of the double degree cooperation can start at both universities, after which SZTE GTK receives the selected students of YNU in the second year of their 3-year master. The Chinese students take international economy courses with a European focus and write their master thesis in Szeged and, upon successful completion, they receive the master's degree from SZTE GTK as well.

We continued our tradition of welcoming our newly admitted students to the University of Szeged’s Faculty of Business Administration and Management.

Under the guidance of Dr. Ildikó Pusztai-Varga, Director of International Affairs, and Melinda Kovács, International Relations Coordinator, the mentor team worked hard to make the freshmen’s transition as smooth as possible. The programs not only helped students become familiar with Szeged and university life but also strengthened the growing sense of community between mentors and first-year students.
