„It’s up to you”

What did GTK mean to you?

GTK was more than just a university — it was where I gained knowledge, built a global mindset, and made lifelong friendships. Studying in a multicultural environment taught me collaboration, open-mindedness, and leadership. Founding the International Marketing Students’ Club, uniting 42 students from 17 countries, was one of my most defining experiences, helping me grow personally and professionally.

Career path

After graduation, I began my professional journey in the IT industry as a Business Development Manager, collaborating with leading companies in Georgia to integrate innovative IT solutions into their ecosystems. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Business Information Technology Management at the University of Amsterdam, where I focus on how business and technology intersect to drive innovation and transformation.

Advice for current and future students

Make the most of your university years — both inside and outside the classroom. Take initiative, try new things, and get involved in student life. These experiences often teach you more than any textbook. Most importantly, enjoy the journey and discover who you are and the impact you want to make.

Most inspiring teacher or experience

Balázs Révész and Szabolcs Prónay inspired me the most through their engaging classes and mentorship.

Three words that describe GTK

Transformative – Inspiring – Practical

Was there a moment of uncertainty?

Yes, after graduation I felt uncertain about which direction to take — I was interested in both technology and entrepreneurship. I overcame this by taking action: working in the IT industry while also exploring my own ventures. These experiences gradually clarified my interests and helped me align my career with my long-term goals.

Current occupation

I am currently a Master’s student in Business Information Technology Management at the University of Amsterdam. What I enjoy most is learning how technology and business strategy come together to drive innovation and digital transformation — exactly the intersection where I want to build my future career.
