German degree for economists from Szeged

Cooperation agreement between FernUniversität in Hagen and the University of Szeged.

Students of the University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics can now receive an accredited German degree through the acceptance of certain courses while students of the University of Hagen can receive Hungarian qualifications. The cooperation agreement was signed by rectors Prof. Dr. Ada Pellert and Prof. Dr. Gábor Szabó on 19th May 2016 at the German Embassy in Budapest.

The cooperation between the University of Szeged and the University of Hagen concerns students studying economics in the two institutions. This means that courses taught at the Business Administration and Management BA programme at the University of Szeged will be accepted within the Business Administration BA programme at the University of Hagen. Similarly, certain courses of the Business Development MA programme will be accepted within the German university’s programmes of Economics and National Economy. German students can also transfer their credits within their economic studies in Szeged.
