New Double Degree Agreement with the Normandy Business School

The new double degree agreement will contribute to the quality of our training programmes, at the same time improving the competitiveness of the University of Szeged.

On 19th March 2015 the University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the French Ecolede Management de Normandie (EMNormandie - Normandy Business School) signed a memorandum on a double degree agreement.

The agreement allows students studying in the master programmes of the two universities to study in an English language training programme in both institutions.

At the University of Szeged this opportunity is open for those economist students who are studying in the English language International Economy and Management MA programme.

The agreement was signed by Márton Vilmányi, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged. He praised the agreement for several reasons, "The collaboration fits well in the strategy of the Faculty of Economics, at the same time creating value for the students. Since they not only acquire knowledge in Hungary but also gain significant experience and get to know new teaching and research methods in France. The Faculty has Erasmus partnerships with more than 60 universities. We signed our first double degree agreement a year ago with the University of Pavia, and now we have selected the first four nominees for the DD programme. Several similar agreements are in the phase of construction and negotiation. Hopefully, in the coming years we will sign 3 or 4 double degree agreements with new partners."
