Faculty Conference on the Competitiveness of Hungarian Economy

On 13th and 14th of October, 2015, a scientific conference was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged and the Regional Committee of the Hungarian Scientific Academy. The remarkable event at the same time marked the 15th anniversary of the research on regional competitiveness in Szeged.

The main topics of the conference involved the competitiveness of regions, economic growth and development. Well-known researchers, among them also lecturers of our Faculty, such as Árpád Kovács (Chairman of the Fiscal Council and the Hungarian Economic Association) and Imre Lengyel (Head of the Institute of Economics and Economic Development) shared their scientific results and conclusions with the interested audience.

The presentations delivered in the conference will be published in a peer-reviewed conference volume.
