The Prezilimpia is an excellent opportunity for university students to test their presenting skills. The Faculty qualifying round was held on 5 May 2022. Le Thi Thanh Mai (3rd year BAM student) won the faculty round, so she represented the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in the final round.

The topic this year was “Schools with long history, education in the 21st century.” Participants should prepare a minimum 6, maximum 8-minute presentation. Each participant was assigned a professional speech mentor to help their preparation for the final round.

The National final was held in the Szent-Györgyi Albert Agóra on 11 May 2022. Participants who qualified for the final round could also test themselves in the presentation karaoke competition. Ten students participated in the presentation contest, while seven of them registered for the karaoke contest also to show their improvisation skills. The competitors could present in Hungarian and English as well.

• Dóra Balog– training coordinator of the SZTE Junior Academy
• Zita Tápler – speech mentor, representing the Ezabeszéd Toastmasters Rhetoric Club Szeged
