SZTE GTK – Toastmasters Scientific Presentation Competition

On 10th of April come and show that You are the best speaker!

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Toastmasters Hungary announce a scientific presentation competition. Present science in a memorable way with your speech and a projection screen. Mentors of Toastmasters Hungary will support the winner to get prepared for the next big step. The winner will represent the faculty at the university round of the competition organised by the Talentpoint of the University of Szeged. Language of presentations: English or Hungarian.

 

You can choose from 24 scientific articles this year. You should present a part of the article which is interesting, understandable, and memorable for the audience.

The presentations have to be 8 minutes long. There will be a short discussion and evaluation after each. The use of projector is compulsory, but the slides can be prepared by any software or online service, considering the capabilities of university computers.

The presentation must be uploaded before the presentation day at THIS platform!


If other special services are required (e.g. prezi.com) on site, please upload a slideshow in pdf format. Office 2010, Firefox and VLC are installed. Installing other special software and using your own computer are not possible. Using macros is not recommended, because security settings of computers may block them.

Intercultural_Gala_2

The University of Szeged’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration recently hosted its International Cultural Gala, a distinguished highlight among a series of events commemorating the Faculty’s 25th anniversary. Coordinated by Dr. Ildikó Pusztai-Varga, Director of International Affairs, and Melinda Kovács, International Relations Coordinator with the help of the head mentors team, this special event welcomed guests and showcased the faculty’s global connections and diverse community. Held at the Albert Szent-Györgyi Agora, a cultural and social hub in Szeged, students and faculty members gathered to enjoy music, performances, and cuisine from over a dozen countries, each representing the rich diversity within the university.
