Speakers’ Corner Report

The second event of the newly born international club “Mind Bogglers” took place last Friday, 10 March in the Faculty building, under the heading “Speakers’ Corner”.

The event is inspired by TED talks and aims to improve public speaking skills of club members.

Presenting in front of a big audience can be a challenging task for the students and young professionals. The majority of people face the problem of “not being heard” by their bosses or by the peers at the workplace, even though they hold a highly qualified degree from top universities. What is behind this problem? The answer is obvious: the lack of PRACTICE!

The session of “Speakers’ Corner” involves activities such as trainings, broad discussions and public speaking. It is an extremely friendly environment to improve your presentation skills and also to exchange the ideas on controversial topics.

The topic of the upcoming events and the registration link will be announced a week prior to session day. We are looking for more courageous members who are ready to step out of their comfort zone and be the speakers in our next session, which will be held on 24 March, 2017.
