Scholarship Award Ceremony at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration

The start of the new academic year was quite a cheerful and celebratory occasion for students who performed excellently in the previous academic year. The day of the Faculty Scholarship Ceremony, 15th September was an honourable day in the Faculty’s life.

The ceremony hosted in the Aula provided an excellent opportunity for guests from different companies and future grant holders of the Faculty to come together and discuss further cooperations. After the ceremony the representatives of different local and international companiesshared information about possible internship opportunities and the excellence grants they offer for students.

Among the grant holders for the 2017-2018 Fall semester were international students Giulia Filoso from Italy, Karim El-Desouki from Egypt, Aseel Diána Mustafa-Belal from Jordan, Eddie Lawrence Omunu and Precious Amanchukwu from Nigeria.

Witnessing the more and more prevalent international spirit at the Faculty of Economics is a remarkable experience. We at the faculty believe that integration and the growing interest in international knowledge exchange boost the academic performance of all the students of the Faculty in general.

We congratulate all the grant holders once again and wish them a successful academic year! On behalf of the Faculty we wish good luck to all the students and hope to witness their outstanding academic performances!
