Scholarships offered by the Faculty and its partners

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Szeged (hereinafter referred to as ‘SZTE GTK’) wishes to pay a contribution to the tuition fees payable by students admitted as fee-paying students to the Faculty.

To achieve this objective, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration offers students in receipt of the scholarship 50% exemption from their tuition fees payable for the Autumn Semester of Academic Year 2022/2023.

Applications can be submitted by full-time, fee-paying students admitted to the Faculty’s Business Administration and Management undergraduate (BSc) and Tourism and Catering undergraduate (BSc) programmes in English.

Application requirements for those who applied to university via DreamApply:
• The applicant has successfully accomplished at least 3 academic semesters in the relevant study programme of the Faculty.
• The applicant is an active full-time student of the University of Szeged at the time of application.
• The result of their mandatory courses in the Autumn Semester of Academic Year 2022/2023 was at least a “Passed”.
• If there is a disciplinary decision made against the student, while it is in effect, the student may not apply for a scholarship.

Application requirements for those who applied to university via felvi.hu:
• The applicant is a full-time, fee-paying student to the Faculty.
• The applicant is not a student in a state-funded/bursary training programme at the moment.
• If there is a disciplinary decision made against the student, while it is in effect, the student may not apply for a scholarship.

Evaluation Criteria:
• The result, i.e. weighted average [súlyozott átlag] of course grades, achieved in the Autumn Semester of Academic Year 2022/2023.
• The documents annexed to the Application Form in the event of equality of points.

The scholarship will be awarded to altogether 3 students studying in the Business Administration and Management and Tourism and Catering undergraduate (BSc) training programmes in English.
