The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Szeged is proud to announce the launch of the Research and Corporate Readiness Hub (RCRH-SZTE) a dynamic, student-led initiative aimed at bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world practice in economics, business, and finance.
The RCRH officially kicked off with an onboarding session on Thursday, 29 May 2025, drawing attendance from Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students. The event featured a presentation on the Hub’s objectives and structure, followed by keynote speeches from Professor Eszter Megyeri, Faculty Adviser of the Hub, and Mr. Lukman Yusuf, Analyst at the IMF, who joined virtually to share his personal journey from World Bank intern to his current role at the IMF.
The Hub is structured around two key pillars: Corporate Readiness and Research Readiness covering areas such as finance, equity research, software training, academic research collaboration, case solving, public speaking, and internship support. Students are organized into divisions under an executive committee and work collaboratively to drive various initiatives forward. It operates as a volunteer-driven initiative with support from the Faculty, and it welcomes collaboration with academic and industry stakeholders both locally and internationally.
We warmly invite all students and partners to follow RCRH’s upcoming activities and contribute to its vision of fostering a collaborative, innovative, and career-ready community of students and young professionals at SZTE.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Nagy Benedek, the Director of International Affairs, Dr. Ildikó Pusztai-Varga, Melinda Kovács, the Faculty Advisers of the Hub, and the entire faculty and administrative staff whose support was instrumental in launching this initiative.
