Qualifications

  • PhD in Economics at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Szeged, Hungary. The principal subject of the research was the economics of energy market and its European liberalization.
  • MSc in economics at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Szeged, Hungary. The title of qualification awarded is “economist specialized in European integration”.

Research Interests

  • European energy market liberalization and its impacts.
  • European industrial strategy and/or policy, Industry 4.0 and the potentials of Hungary in answering the challenges either in manufacturing and in agriculture in connection with the latest technological developments.

Work experience

  • Assistant Professor – January 2013 - Present – Responsible for courses, development of teaching material, giving lectures and seminars both in English and Hungarian.
  • Assistant Lecturer – 2003 - 2012 (10 years) – Responsible for courses, development of teaching material, giving lectures and seminars mainly in Hungarian.

Participation in partially EU-funded projects

  • January 2018 – Present: co-researcher within EFOP-3.6.2-16-2017-00007 Aspects on the development of intelligent, sustainable and inclusive society: social, technological, innovation networks in employment and digital economy. Working group: Economic policy aspects of the 4th industrial revolution. The project has been supported by the European Union, co-financed by the European Social Fund and the budget of Hungary.
  • September 2018 – Present: co-researcher within EFOP-3.6.1-16-2016-00008 Development of intelligent life science technologies, methodologies, applications and advancement of innovative processes and services based on the knowledge base of Szeged.
  • September 2017 – Present: tutor of online courses – contributing the KÖFOP-2.1.1-VEKOP-15-2016-00001 project of National University of Public Service.
  • June 2006 – August 2007: co-research coordinator – Structural Funds project ROP-3.3.1-05/1.-2005-11-0002/34 "Training on the policies of the European Union and development of competencies for better employment in the South Great Plain Region among the students of Universitas by enlarging the training portfolio of the University of Szeged".
  • September 2004 – March 2005: trainer – training held for public administration, local enterprises, and NGO-s in project planning and implementation, Ministry of Economics, Multiplicator Training Programme.

    • Research about the “Changing access to public healthcare and social inequalities – the case of Hungary” supported by the project nr. EFOP-3.6.1-16-2016-00008. The project has been supported by the European Union, co-financed by the European Social Fund and the budget of Hungary.<6
    • Research about the impact of industry 4.0 on industrial policy/strategy of the EU supported by the project nr. EFOP-3.6.2-16-2017-00007, titled „Aspects on the development of intelligent, sustainable and inclusive society: social, technological, innovation networks in employment and digital economy”. The project has been supported by the European Union, co-financed by the European Social Fund and the budget of Hungary.

    Awards, prizes
