Profile

Balázs Tóth obtained his master’s degree in Finance at the University of Szeged in 2018. He joined the University of Szeged in the same year when he started his PhD. studies at the Faculty. The topic of his PhD research is related to the role of the Internal Control Systems in the Public Sector.

Balázs Tóth’s research is to investigate the relation between the efficiency and the internal control systems in the public sector. He also examines the development and the new challenges of accounting of the public sector.

• EFOP-3.6.2-16-2017-00007 Aspects on the development of intelligent, sustainable and inclusive society: social, technological, innovation networks in employment and digital economy. The project has been supported by the European Union, co-financed by the European Social Fund and the budget of Hungary.
