Double degree

The Department of Economics and Management, University of Pavia and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged will grant the master’s degree to students registered in the program described in the following articles in the field of studies taught:

  • for the Department of Economics and Management, University of Pavia: Laurea Magistrale in International Business and Economics
  • for the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged: Master of International Economy and Business

The double degree program will cover a two-year period collecting 120 ECTS-Credits.

In order to satisfy the minimum ministerial study curriculum set by the Italian University system, students participating in the Double Degree Program (both Italian and foreign), must acquire the following number of ECTS throughout the two-year program:

  • 24 ECTS in the Business area
  • 12 ECTS in the Economics area
  • 6 ECTS in the Mathematics/Statistics area
  • 6 ECTS in the Juridical area

In order to satisfy the minimum ministerial study curriculum set by the Hungarian University system, students participating in the Double Degree Program (both Hungarian and foreign), must acquire the following number of ECTS throughout the two-year program:

  • 25 ECTS in the compulsory courses of the economical, methodological basic module
  • 35 ECTS in the compulsory courses of the programme-specific module
  • minimum 37 ECTS in the semi-optional courses of the programme-specific module
  • 15 ECTS in the thesis module

For the Hungarian degree students must acquire at least 40 ECTS credits at the University of Szeged.

Students from Szeged:

complete in Pavia their full second year (semesters 3 and 4) of the Master to obtain the Laurea Magistrale MIBE.

These students will study the 1st year of the program at their university, while in the 2nd year they will enrol at the MIBE in the Department of Economics and Management, University of Pavia.

Students from Pavia:

complete in Szeged their full second year (semesters 3 and 4) to obtain the Master MIEB.

Students from this university will study their 1st year of the program at their university, while in the 2nd year they will enrol at Master MIEB in the University of Szeged.
