The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Szeged (hereinafter referred to as the Faculty) invites applications for the position of teacher’s assistant for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025. The aim of the teacher’s assistant application scheme is to promote the active participation of students in the teaching and research work of the Faculty.
The application criteria:
Applications are open to full-time and part-time second-year Master students of the Faculty (exceptionally, with the support of the relevant Institute, students from other faculties may also apply) and for third-year Bachelor students (in exceptional cases second-year Bachelor students may also apply).
In the evaluation of the applications, preference will be given to candidates who have completed professional work beyond the scope of their studies (TDK thesis or other professional projects, documented research, which can be certified by a submitted document or by the supervisor of the subject.)
To apply for a teacher’s assistant position, the applicant’s CV is required, as well as a letter of acceptance (in email) from the teacher who will be involved in the teaching and research.
Applications should be sent to the Head of the host Institute using the Modulo form.
The activities of the teacher’s assistant will be graded by the relevant Head of the Institute at the end of the academic term of the relevant semester, according to the following grades:
- excellent performance of the teacher’s assistant 's duties,
- satisfactory completion of his/her task as a teacher’s assistant,
- teacher’s assistant has performed his/her duties inadequately.
The teacher’s assistant will be remunerated by the Faculty for his/her activities, according to the grades detailed above: 50.000 HUF/ semester for excellent grade; 30.000 HUF/ semester for satisfactory grade. The appointment of a teacher’s assistant is for valid one semester.
