International Week 2024

I can say with confidence that 2024 is the year of jubilee and record numbers in the history of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

We have just celebrated the 25th anniversary of our lively faculty with an exceptionally special International Week. We were very happy to see that 46 guest colleagues have registered to come to Szeged as well as 16 Eugloh students. Another record number we have achieved is 18 mini-courses to choose from.
The networking hub that we have every year has also changed a lot, because this year it was open all day long to provide a comfortable environment with complementary catering service.
As it comes from its name, people gathered here to build connections and talk between their classes and activities. For this to happen we had a huge board with all the participants names and QR codes to their LinkedIn profile.
Whenever the guest professors had programs organised by our amazing colleagues, the Eugloh students were not left without entertainment either. Luckily, this time all we had was sunny days with 25+ degrees and no rain, so everyone could enjoy the city of sunshine.

On the first day, everyone was invited for a very interesting sightseeing in the city centre and for a welcome reception dinner, with performances and amazing Hungarian food.
From Tuesday, the mini-courses have started as well as the informative workshops in the aula of the faculty. After the courses, we went to the Observatory with the students to widen our knowledge about supernovas and to admire the stars and planets a little bit outside of Szeged.
Wednesday, the guest colleagues had a gala dinner in a fascinating location provided by Vár Múzeum. Regarding the students, they obviously needed to discover the never sleeping Nyugi kert with a pub quiz about Hungarian fun facts.

Our last event happened on Thursday in Napsugaras Tájház with Hungarian beef & mushroom stew and a wine tasting with delicious local wines.

We hope to welcome our international colleagues and guest students again in 2025 with new approaches.
