PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The Bachelor in Tourism and Catering is a 8-semester-long training programme, taught fully in English. The programme has been developed for students who wish to acquire strong practical business knowledge and want to interpret tourism trends at local and global level. The main objective of the Tourism and Catering BSc programme is to train economists who are equipped with appropriate knowledge and soft skills to work on the field of tourism and catering services. The program has a special focus on the hotel industry, on wellness and health tourism, on tour operations, on touristic marketing communication and on destination management.
The programme consists of compulsory, semi-optional and optional courses, thesis consultation, and thesis writing. After completing the courses, degree can be obtained by successfully defending a thesis and passing the final exam.

Requirement regulated by the law: 2 foreign economic languages known at B2 level. |

Completing B2 module with 4 credits AND internal oral and written exam in a language but English (criteria exam, 0 credit, it can be passed from the 3rd semester, and it is a pre-requisite of the pre-degree certificate) members of the committee: Foreign Language Centre of the SZTE, faculty members and company representatives |
