133 foreign students started their studies at the University of Szeged in the second semester of the academic year 2021/22 under the frames of the ERASMUS+ programme.
Students studying in Hungary with Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship received the "Stipendium Hungariucm Excellence Award" from the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on the 26th of October.

In the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings, the University of Szeged is ranked 551-560. This makes it the best university in Hungary.
