Presentation competition

Congratulations to Seylan Musayeva!

The long-awaited final round of the presentation competition organised by the SZTE Talent Centre took place on 17th March at the TIK library building. The air was filled with excitement as all twelve winners of the previous faculty round were about to give their intriguing 10-minute lectures accompanied by well-crafted prezi and ppt presentations.

All twelve faculties of the university delegated a previously selected lecturer with Seylan Musayeva, a first year international student representing our very own Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Being the only foreign student to make it to the final round and therefore the only contestant speaking in English, Seylan’s presentation was a truly unique, clever and insightful lecture delivered with a thoroughly professional and genuinely charming attitude. Her speech received instant recognition among the similarly excellent Hungarian presentations with praise from audience members and other contestants alike.

At the end, the judges and the audience seemed equally impressed as Seylan was awarded the official first prize and the audience prize as well.

Winners:

1st Prize: Seylan Musayeva (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration)

2nd Prize: Attila György Németh (Faculty of Law)

3rd Prize: Tamás Török (Faculty of Engineering)

Special Prize: Márton Szives (Faculty of Music)

Audience Prize: Seylan Musayeva (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration)

Congratulations to every contestant!

We continued our tradition of welcoming our newly admitted students to the University of Szeged’s Faculty of Business Administration and Management.

Under the guidance of Dr. Ildikó Pusztai-Varga, Director of International Affairs, and Melinda Kovács, International Relations Coordinator, the mentor team worked hard to make the freshmen’s transition as smooth as possible. The programs not only helped students become familiar with Szeged and university life but also strengthened the growing sense of community between mentors and first-year students.
